Emmaus Women’s Shelter cannot function without volunteers. The time and talents of generous workers fuels our day-to-day activities. Through their support of our fundraising events, volunteers have helped to raise 85% of our operating capitol. Volunteer NeedsOakHaven Day Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 3:30, and we can almost always find something that needs to be done. Every volunteer helps to restore the lives of homeless women and their children by supporting our staff. Volunteers make us more effective in our efforts to provide cost-efficient service to the people we serve. Every volunteer task benefits the homeless women at the Day Center.
